Active Region Observations with Hinode/EIS
Dr. Helen Mason, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom
A review will be given of observations of active regions from Hinode/EIS, in particular studies carried out by the Cambridge Atomic Astrophysics group. These observations provide interesting new insights into the heating mechanism of solar active reagions, with some puzzling results which are yet to be explained. A cross calibration between Hinode/EIS and hinode/XRT and Hinode/EIS and SDO/AIA will also be discussed.
